Digiplexis ‘Illumination Flame’ in it’s glory last summer.
Welcome to our Garden!
This winter Petula jumped at the opportunity to design the plantings at Hazel Miller Plaza located in the seaside town of Edmonds, WA. Our goal was to fill the garden with beauty, but also spark imaginations by testing renegade choices not usually seen in city plantings. We used succulents, agaves, drought tolerant shrubs, tropicals–even citrus–combined with Northwest perennials. The result is a beautiful, evolving mix that is low maintenance and lasts longer than your standard annual flower planting.

This project is in conjunction with the City of Edmonds Parks & Recreation Department. A special thanks to the Edmonds Floretum Garden Club for their help on planting day. On a sidenote, the Floretum Garden Club was just named Edmonds 2015 Citizen of the Year.
