Walk the growing grounds and touch the plants firsthand. Experience the quality and breadth of product we offer. Visit diverse retail models to spark an idea for our own business. Every step is guaranteed to make you think out of your box. We coordinate everything, all you have to do is book your airline tickets* & show up!
We’re starting in the San Francisco Bay area & finishing in San Diego
1/12 MONDAY Fly to Oakland from Seattle/Portland for a day of visiting retail destinations such as Flora Grubb Gardens. Other potentials are Alden Lane, Cactus Jungle, Annie’s Annuals, Berkeley Horticultural Nsy. Final retail stops will be determined by individuals signed up.
1/13 TUESDAY Morning pick up at San Jose Airport (if needed), visit Monterey Bay Nursery & Four Winds Growers in Watsonville.
1/14 WEDNESDAY Visit San Marcos Growers in Santa Barbara, retail stop in afternoon.
1/15 THURSDAY Los Angeles Retail Stops: Rolling Green Nursery, The Campsite, Rogers Gardens & Laguna Beach Nursery. Stay overnight in Carlsbad.
1/16 FRIDAY: Visit EuroAmerican Propagators & Premier Color Nursery in Fallbrook; Barrels & Branches & Cedros Gardens in Cedros Design District in afternoon.
1/17 SATURDAY: Visit Good Earth Nursery, then head to airport
We provide:
- Two dinners
- Ground Transportation in California and trip coordination
You provide:
- Airfare (please confirm dates/times with us before booking)
- Meals (most hotels cover breakfasts, we cover two dinners)
- Hotels (we get a special rate on many hotels, most will average at $100-115 per night. We will book them. )
Air travel notes:
- If you are not interested in the Retail stops, you can skip Monday and fly into San Jose airport for an 8:45 pickup Tuesday morning.
- This is a multi city flight trip: arriving in Oakland or San Jose & departing from San Diego
- Shuttle costs to & from airports not on regular stops would be your own expense.
