Here are a few “under construction” at the Petula greenhouse.
An indoor or shade planter that uses the splashy variegated Schefflera leaves as the thriller plant. From left: Pothos Gold, Schefflera var., Lemon Cypress, Black Pagoda & Aeonium Kiwi
This one will be fun when it fills in, Black Pittosporum in the center, golden Carex ‘Banana Boat’ & a new Stachys ‘Bella Grigio’ provides a silvery contrast.
You can’t really even call this one “under construction”, it already looks pretty. But it will be GORGEOUS in a couple months!
Fabulous! As one who hauls a lot of heavy planters around I must ask, how do you move them once you’ve got them planted up?
We just muscle it! Though not always good for the back, but we only have to move it to a cart. We actually had the rim of a pot snap off the other day as we were moving it. That started me thinking we should try one of those “heavy pot movers”.
